Central Health Grenada exceeds its targets

Roslyn A. Douglas founder of Central Health Grenada has reported to Healthy Caribbean Coalition (HCC) that the efforts of Central Health Grenada to increase the number of Grendadian signatures supporting the End Cervical Cancer Now e-petition. Central Health – Grenada collected more than 1000 signatures for the End Cervical Cancer Now in the last 3 months. Central Health – Grenada incorporated six strategies to secure/increase signatures from the Grenada population:
• Request for support of the ECC petition during presentations
• Solicited support by setting up a table in a prominent mall in Grand Anse, St. George’s
• Encouraged local businesses/establishments to utilize staff to secure hard copy signatures
• Advertising on Facebook
• Sharing the link to the ECC campaign webpage on numerous Grenadian based/targeted Facebook pages
• The usage of text and email blasts
As part of this initiative, CHG also delivered numerous educational sessions in workplaces, schools and local communities.
The organization reports that it is pleased with its performance and will continue to ensure that its strategic plan reaps rewards that are measureable especially among the population it represents.
