Two lines of marijuana products to be launched by Marley family in 2015

It will likely only be available in those states that have legalized the use of Marijuana and the Marley family will launch, in conjunction with a private Seattle firm, a range of marijuana-based products which will be infused with “natural Jamaican botanicals”.
Marley Natural will sell lotions, vaporisers and a host of other products where marijuana is legal across the Globe according to reports. Bob Marley passed away in May of 1981.
According to daughter Cedella Marley, the company is a wholly owned subsidiary which also owns companies that owns medicinal marijuana companies in Canada as well as a resource app Leafly which recently won an award from GeekWire.
“Marley Natural is a brand with deep roots in the life and legacy of our father,” said Cedella Marley, “He’s smiling at what’s really happening.”
Meanwhile in the next few months, another son, Julian Marley will add his name to new products available to the American market as well.
He has partnered with Drop Leaf LLC to launch JUJU Royal Premium Marijuana Marley alongside “edibles and beverages” under his brand name. Use of all of the above products will only be allowed in states or countries where the use of marijuana is legalized according to sources at the companies for the Marley family and Julian Marley, respectively.
“I am happy to speak out in favour of decriminalization and I salute Drop Leaf as a proud participant in the movement and struggle to make this natural super plant available for all who need it and its healing properties, ” said Julian Marley.
Bob Marley died of cancer and his son supports the fight to get marijuana legalized as does his sister and other relatives in the Marley clan. Julian Marley believes that marijuana is useful in cancer treatment.
Julian Marley is best known for work Lion in the Morning, Time and Space and Awake, the latter of which earned a Grammy nomination while his sister Cedella Marley designed the Jamaican team’s 2012 Olympic uniforms, has a very creative fashion line and has worked with international names like Puma among others.
Rita Marley who is part of the Seattle-backed Marley Natural is the former wife of legend Bob Marley.
