It should become operational in 2022. AUB director Afzal Mehdi and Minister of Education Ronald Jones disclosed these additional plans for the university yesterday at the Wildey complex. “We already have a hospital in India, so that is how we’re planning to have a hospital here also which will cater to medical tourism as well as to our own students . . . and we can have it free for the needy people also,” Mehdi told the DAILY NATION following a tour of the facility.
