8 being interviewed for top PMH post

The number of candidates for the post of Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) administrator has been narrowed to eight, according to Public Hospital Authority (PHA) Managing Director Herbert Brown.

Brown said yesterday the PHA should be in a position to fill the post before the end of the year. He said the candidates will be consulted before a final recommendation is put to the board.

Brown declined to name the candidates. However, he said the new administrator is expected to be someone who is ‘progressive’.

In a hugely controversial move, the PHA terminated the contract of the former hospital administrator Coralie Adderley, who worked with the hospital for 11 years.
